Looking Forward: Your Feedback in Action

We are also listening to your suggestions for improvement.
In 2026, we are looking at ways to:
Expand our reach into the northern and outer suburbs.
Diversify events with ideas like "buddy systems" for new members & more creative workshops.
Improve accessibility by considering noise levels and physical access at our venues.
A massive thank you to everyone who participated.
As one member put it:
"Activate Mental Health has added something precious to my life, plus an extra dose of fun".
We can’t wait to see you at our next event!
Thank you to Li - our report writer
This report has been wonderfully designed by Li, a remote-based volunteer from Queensland who is a passionate mental health and wellbeing advocate who loves being creative and having a good yarn.
Li started volunteering with AMH in 2024 to give back and use her creative skills, while supporting a community that truly values wellbeing, connection and fun. Researchers and policy makers often talk about what might help people’s mental health, but AMH is actually doing it, helping people connect, feel supported and be part of a community.
“It’s important to communicate the impact on the community and the wonderful work of our volunteers, hosts and supporters. Sharing these stories helps secure vital funding and sponsorships, allowing AMH not only to continue its events, but also to build volunteer capacity and provide an even better experience for the people it supports.”
