Welcome to a new blog article series for Activate Mental Health: Creative Community! In this new series, we publish creative works by members and volunteers of our very own Activate community. Our email inbox is open and we are ready to see the art in any form you have been working on. We have many arts-based Meet-Ups, from Coffee & Colour Club to Publishing Your Best-Seller, if you would like a supportive place to nurture your arts.
First up in the Creative Community Series we have volunteer Karma, whose beautiful poem kickstarted the idea for this blog series. You may know Karma from out in the Activate Community and the blog heard from her recently during National Volunteer's Week. Her poem describes moving through the tough, long seasons we encounter in life and holding onto yourself, until you find hope on the other side.

Thank you Karma for sharing your insightful, hopeful and brave piece! If moving through these tough seasons gets too heavy alone, Activate Mental Health can help providing social support and Meet-Ups to break through the loneliness and help you come out the other side.
If you would like your creative work, in any form, to be featured in the Creative Community series, please email the blog team directly at: stories@activatemh.com.au
